The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: I began my professional life as a hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, but after earning my master's I began a 30-year career in teaching social studies. My wife Gayle and I have a daughter and a son - the former is already a Nittany grad and latter seems poised to join our ranks; all three of us belong to Mensa. I was granted a utility patent for a fluid impeller and was accepted to the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). I received my doctorate in education and began seeking means to link my interest in technology with experimental educational psychology. Some like-minded colleagues and I are forming a team for the "Chromoacoustics Project;" this is an endeavor to link music and color for productive applications in instructional and therapeutic settings; I produced a paper RE the project that has been published in Volume 6 of Rose-Croix Journal (rosecroixjournal.org). |
